The Faire poster. Jesters of considerable renown: drag, burlesque and more. Live bardic bangers: band, soloist, DJs. Great hall of feasting: chef-made menu, kinda table service, beer, wine and mead. Honourable-ish combat: sword fights, fire fights, wrestling, even more wrestling (quite a lot of wrestling, actually). The Naval Store, Fremantle WA, December 4, 5 and 6, 2026. A witch and a warrior cross staff and sword in front of pink and orange flames.

The Story

Tensions between the four great houses are building. The Royals have called for delegations to come to the capital for a great feast & tourney to raise spirits, and for a meeting of leaders to resolve disputes.

You and your adventuring party find yourselves in one of these delegations.

Are you following a lover? Paying a debt? Just down for a sick party?

The Show

Edition 1 is primarily a variety show held in a great hall, with a small element of role play. You'll be seated at long tables in a heavily styled area, watching great performances in the epic centre ring.

These performances include:

  • Wrestling
  • Drag
  • Cabaret
  • Sword fighting
  • Fighting with fire
  • More wrestling
  • Live folk bands
  • Even more wrestling
  • DJs spinning bardcore

Players (that's you) will also meet roving performers and get your own personal adventure prompts.

To get the most out of your experience, please create a character and start or join a party at the-faire.com.

Food & Drink

Food and drinks are served tapas style, with roving servers bringing custom high quality culinary delights to try as you go. You can also just walk up to the bar if you’re nearby.

Come hungry and thirsty, and bring a cough drop if you've got a sore throat, because you'll be cheering on your house's performers or singing along to bangers the whole show.

1 Silver Coin will get you a drink or something to eat and are a faster way to pay. More info about Silver Coin tokens .

Good to Know

Costumes are mandatory.

18+ only.

Some people might call many of the performances "crude" or "a bit out there". If you're not feeling good about the idea of a Hobgoblin Eating a Hobnob with his Knob Out, keep an eye on the set times and use that time to do one of your adventure tasks or get some fresh air in the outside area.

We've put in extra budget to make sure our security are cool, so please let them know if anyone is being weird. If you're the one being weird, you'll be removed without a refund.

This is a fantasy faire, not a specific time period. Don't get up in our DMs about historical accuracy. Goblins are cool and deserve representation.

Tickets

Seating is allocated at 5pm AWST the day before your show. Make sure your party is set up at the-faire.com and any seating upgrades are bought by then, or they won't count.

General admission

Unreserved seating at the long tables, mostly benches. You'll often be able to sit with your party, but it isn't guaranteed. If you end up in seats allocated to a reserved party, you may be asked to move.

Reserved seating

A per-person upgrade. Everyone who buys it and has joined the same party gets seated together. Party members without the upgrade aren't guaranteed a seat with you. Limited, and will sell out before total allocation does. See the FAQs for how reserved seating is allocated.

Ringside seating

A per-party upgrade to the closest seats to the ring, at the ends of the long tables. Everyone who buys it and has joined the same party gets seated together. Very limited. See the FAQs for how ringside seating works.

Coming more than once?

Book as many shows as you like. Play the same character or make a new one. A new character gets new adventure prompts, but the story in the ring is the same each night.

To keep this first edition great, tickets are very limited. Unless the Fremantle council gods smile on us, don't expect a capacity increase.

On sale

First access: Monday 19 October, 7:30am AWST, for people registered at the-faire.com. Closes 11:59pm that night or when sold out.

We've spent decades in the entertainment industry, and this series of shows is what we've been most excited about, ever. We really think you're going to have a great time.
